The Buffalo Bills strength and conditioning staff are just as important as any other group of coaches on the team. The Head of the department Eric Ciano has been with Buffalo since 2010. Ciano is not only in charge of the strength and conditioning program and work of the players year round but he also helps plan every workout in and outside the season.

Ciano has set himself apart as a head of a strength and conditioning department because of his use of modern technology. Ciano uses a GPS system that helps collect data on players. This data is used for a plethora of reasons but the main is to help prevent or explain injuries in players. This program has been successful as the Bills seem to stay away from having any significant injuries each season.

While players get beat up throughout the season and miss games here and there the Bills seem to never be impacted too much by long-term injuries which shows how successful the strength and conditioning department is.
