Richard Sherman

At one time, Richard Sherman was considered one of the best cornerbacks in the NFL. During his time with the Seattle Seahawks he was a part of the vaunted Legion of Boom. Sherman had a stretch of three straight years where he was named to the first-team All-Pro and four straight years where he was selected to the Pro Bowl.

While he may not be able to play at that level at this point in his career, he is still good enough to play at an above-average level, which is something that isn’t necessarily guaranteed with Wallace or Jackson.

He did miss most of the season last year but in 2019, when he played 15 games, he finished the year with 61 total tackles, three interceptions, and 11 passes defended while opposing quarterbacks had a QB rating of only 63.0 when throwing his direction, according to Pro Football Reference.

If the Buffalo Bills were to sign Richard Sherman, he may need to prove he can still be a starter after the injury-filled season but I believe he would win that job.
