
4. Jack Anderson
The next player on this list is the team’s seventh round pick, offensive guard Jack Anderson. He is an experienced offensive guard, starting 38 games over four seasons for Texas Tech, and with the uncertainty at guard he could be in the mix. If there was a rookie to start at guard this year, it would likely be Anderson over Doyle because of the experience and not having to switch positions.
The other reason that Anderson is slightly higher than Doyle here is that he has practiced at center and did during practice in the week leading up to the Senior Bowl. It wouldn’t be surprising to see him end up being the primary backup to Mitch Morse and if Morse does miss time and the coaching staff doesn’t want to move Jon Feliciano to the position, it would likely be Anderson who would play here.
