Dion Dawkins vs. Chase Young

One of the big matchups that jump out when looking at these two teams is in the trenches between two young players ascending at their positions in left tackle Dion Dawkins and defensive end Chase Young.

Young was the second overall pick by Washington this past season and certainly showed why he was deserving of the pick. He finished the year with 7.5 sacks, 12 QB hits, 4 forced fumbles, 3 fumble recoveries, and one defensive touchdown.

However, he will likely have a tough time against the Buffalo Bills as they have one of the better left tackles in the NFL in Dion Dawkins. He was a second-round pick by the Buffalo Bills in 2017 and just signed a long-term extension last offseason to be the starting tackle for the foreseeable future.

An excellent pass rusher like Chase Young can almost singlehandedly wreck an offensive gameplan and that is why this matchup may be one of the key ones to watch in this game.
