Cordarrelle Patterson

If there is one position that appears to be the biggest question mark it is on special teams and who will be the Buffalo Bills returners next season. This has been a role that has been filled by Andre Roberts however he left to join the Houston Texans this offseason.

The Bills do have some players with experience as returners with Micah Hyde having 91 career punt returns but only 15 since joining the Bills in 2017. They also brought back Taiwan Jones who has 82 kickoff returns in his career but a similar story to Hyde with only 15 since 2016.

While Isaiah McKenzie could be an option, he is currently an unrestricted free agent, the Buffalo Bills may want to consider Cordarrell Patterson. The former first round pick has built a reputation as one of the best kickoff returners in the NFL today and for his career has an average of 29.8 yards per kickoff return.

The addition of Patterson not only could help special teams but also be a boost to the offense as he has become a versatile player as a wide receiver and a running back in recent years.
