Jamal Agnew

One of the more electric returners in the NFL is Jamal Agnew, who previously was with the Detroit Lions. He was a fifth round pick by the Lions in 2017 and has been their primary returner over the past four seasons.

During that stretch, he has 74 punt returns for an average of 11.6 yards per return and 64 kick returns for an average of 25.8 yards per return. He also has shown an ability to find the end zone and has five returns (4 punts, 1 kickoff) for a touchdown in his career. He also was named a first-team All-Pro as a rookie in 2017.

If the Bills were to sign Agnew he would most likely be strictly a returner as the Lions didn’t use him much on offense. This past season he played the most offensive snaps of his career but it was only 19% of the team’s total snaps. He finished with 13 receptions for 89 receiving yards and six carries for 33 yards.
