Gerald Everett

When thinking about tight ends on the Los Angeles Rams, the player who usually comes to mind almost immediately is Tyler Higbee. However, Gerald Everett is another tight end that has played for the Rams and now that he is a free agent, could find himself being the primary tight end on his new team.

Everett was a second round pick by the Rams and similar to Jonnu Smith has steadily improved year over year. This past season he posted career numbers with 41 receptions, 417 receiving yards and two receiving touchdowns.

One of the reasons Everett could be a top target for the Buffalo Bills is his versatility. While on the Rams, Everett was behind Higbee on the depth chart but he still ended up playing about 57% of the offensive snaps. This is because the Rams would move Everett around on the field and line him up on the line but also split him out wide pretty frequently.

The Buffalo Bills may not get the blocking like they would from Jonnu Smith but a player like Gerald Everett would certainly make this offense even more dynamic.
