Dawson Knox

The coaching staff is committed to giving Dawson Knox every opportunity to earn the starting tight end job this season and moving forward. Tyler Kroft has yet to be active since the Bills came out of their bye week and in that time, Knox has played at least 55% of the offensive snaps.

He also has started to earn some targets from Josh Allen in the passing game. In the first seven games of the season he played, Knox had four targets only once. However, the past three weeks, Knox has gotten at least four every game and has found the end zone in three of the last four.

While the Buffalo Bills passing game has certainly done more than just get by without production from the tight end, the addition of Dawson Knox gives Josh Allen another weapon. This is only going to put more pressure on defenses but make Allen’s job a little easier.
