Brandon Aiyuk and Deebo Samuel

While the San Francisco 49ers tend to lean on their run game, they have started to move the ball more through the air recently. It started with rookie Brandon Aiyuk emerging as a threat starting in Week 7. He would go to have at least six receptions and 75 receiving yards in the next three games before missing Week 12 after being placed on the Reserve/COVID-19 list.

However, the 49ers got Deebo Samuel back for this game and he would go on to catch 11 passes for 133 receiving yards against the Rams. This week will be the first time they have had both receivers on the field since Week 7 and this could create problems for the Buffalo Bills.

The Bills’ secondary has been improved and done a good job against some of the top wide receiver groups in the NFL like the Seahawks and Chargers. This will be another big test for them as Aiyuk and Samuel have shown at different times this year they can take games over.
