Buffalo Bills: Keys to victory and final score prediction for Week 9
Final Score Prediction
Without weather projected to be much of a factor in Buffalo for Week 9, this game should end up being quite the shoot out with two top tier offenses. Although the Seahawks defense has been playing at a terribly low level so far this season, they have been without All-Pro safety Jamal Adams for a majority of the season. Week 9 has been the week that the Seahawks believed he would be healthy enough to find his way back to the field.
Although Adams is projected to return to play in Week 9 against the Buffalo Bills, his specialty is in run support. While Adams is capable in coverage, it is not where he’s best. Adams could have a big impact on defending the Bills passing game, but it should come more from his ability to rush the passer on blitzes than in coverage.
With the way the Bills ran the football last week after the return of offensive guard Jon Feliciano, the offense proved that it is capable of attacking through the air and on the ground. The hope is that last week’s offensive performance makes it more difficult for opposing defenses to establish a game plan that takes away the Buffalo air attack and forces the Bills to rely on their ground game.
My final score prediction for Week 9 is for the Bills to upset the Seahawks 28-27. As great as the Seahawks are this season, their defense has not been doing them any favors and I think that will be the main reason the Bills will have a chance to upset them in Week 9.
However, the only chance that this upset is possible for the Bills is if their defense gets some key stops. This could be from forcing turnovers, punts, or even field goals because any drive that the Bills defense doesn’t allow a touchdown should be considered a small victory. With Matt Milano being ruled out for this game, these small defensive victories could be much more difficult to achieve.
Final Score: Bills win 28-27
