Taron Johnson vs. Jamison Crowder

There is no question that Jamison Crowder loves playing the Buffalo Bills as some of his best games with the Jets have come against the Bills. In the three games over the past two seasons, Crowder has averaged 9.6 receptions, 93 receiving yards, and a total of two touchdowns.

However, Jamison Crowder may not even get the chance to play the Bills after being downgraded on Saturday to doubtful.

If he does play though, this could be shaping up to be another big game for the Jets slot receiver as the Bills have struggled against this position this season. Their starter Taron Johnson has not been able to play up to the level he has in past seasons.

According to Pro Football Reference, Johnson has been targeted 35 times while allowing 27 receptions for 280 yards. While the Bills secondary as a whole has struggled, this has been by far one of the biggest weaknesses.

This should be a busy week for Taron Johnson and the focus for him should be to keep Crowder in front of him and not allow him to pick up first downs. It will be a big test for Johnson but if he wins this, it will be a tremendous boost for this defense.
