Linebackers

For the second straight week, the Buffalo Bills were without Matt Milano and it certainly showed. The Bills also saw Tyrel Dodson, who was the primary replacement, leave early due to an injury so it was veteran A.J. Klein that played most of the game.

Tremaine Edmunds led the team in tackles with 12 and Klein added seven of his own but those numbers could have been much higher with a number of missed tackles by both in this game. Hopefully, Milano, who did practice in full on Saturday, can return because he is showing he is a key piece to this defense by how much they have struggled in his absence.

Secondary

If the Buffalo Bills were told they would keep Patrick Mahomes to only 225 passing yards, they would likely consider that a victory. However, the reason Mahomes threw for only 225 yards was because the ground game was just so effective.

When the Chiefs quarterback did step back to pass he was regularly finding his targets wide open and able to connect with ease. He finished the game completing 81% of his passes and two touchdowns with no interceptions.

There is no question the struggles of the secondary has to be the most surprising because they brought back every starter, and while Levi Wallace is currently on injured reserve, Josh Norman was expected to be an upgrade.
