Running Back

Once again it was almost exclusively Devin Singletary in the backfield as rookie running back Zack Moss was inactive this week. The second-year back would go on to carry the ball 18 times for 55 yards and his first rushing touchdown of the season. He also was active in the passing game with five receptions for 21 yards.

The performance from Singletary, and the Bills rushing attack, feels underwhelming considering the Raiders have struggled to stop the run. In the first three weeks, the Raiders allowed the fifth most rushing yards per game with 163.7 and the third highest yards per rush attempt average at 5.6. The fact that the Bills finished this game averaging three yards less per carry has to be a concern for this staff.

Grade: C

Wide Receiver

It was another good performance by this group but certainly wasn’t their best this season. Stefon Diggs once again led the way with six receptions on seven targets for 115 yards and no touchdown. This was a game where Diggs impact was felt, even if he didn’t get in the end zone. He made a tremendous leaping catch in the fourth quarter that went for 49 yards that set the Bills up for their final touchdown.

The two receivers who did end up scoring touchdowns was rookie Gabriel Davis, who had a 26-yard touchdown on his only target, and Cole Beasley with a circus catch in the second quarter. Neither saw a huge volume of targets but made the most of their opportunities.
