Stock Up: Gabriel Davis

One week after catching a diving touchdown to put the Buffalo Bills up for good against the Miami Dolphins, which also was his first career touchdown, Gabriel Davis would go on to set career highs in receptions (4), receiving yards (81), and snaps (46).

The increase in playing time could have been due to the absence of John Brown, who suffered a calf injury during the course of the game and would play under 50% of the offensive snaps. However, when Davis has been on the field, and especially when Josh Allen looks his way, he has produced.

Throughout training camp, the Buffalo Bills looked like they got a steal with Gabriel Davis in the fourth round of a deep wide receiver class in the NFL Draft. However, it was hard to imagine he would be able to produce this early, especially with no preseason games. Gabriel Davis is going to be a special player in this offense and should only see his role expand in the coming years.
