Cornerback

One of the surprises for the Buffalo Bills 53-man roster was the fact that they only kept five cornerbacks on the roster. This is something that Sean McDermott has typically done with his rosters since taking over as head coach but it would have made sense this season to keep more.

The reason the Buffalo Bills should have added a few more to their active roster as they were dealing with injuries towards the end of camp at the position. Levi Wallace and Josh Norman were competing for the starting job opposite Tre’Davious White but both missed time due to a hamstring injury.

The good news was that both returned to practice in full on Monday so hopefully, the injuries are behind them. However, if they are not able to fully go for Week 1 the team would look to Siran Neal as an outside corner or bring up Cam Lewis or Dane Jackson from the practice squad.

This is a position that would have made sense to add another veteran as a potential backup to help solidify the position with some experience.
