Levi Wallace

The one player under the most pressure on the Buffalo Bills has to be cornerback Levi Wallace. The third year corner isn’t in jeopardy of being cut this training camp but this could be his final chance to secure the starting cornerback job.

Wallace joined the Buffalo Bills as an undrafted free agent and eventually took over as a rookie. He performed pretty well and was even graded as the best rookie corner in 2018.

This past offseason the Bills signed Kevin Johnson as a free agent and while Wallace started 15 games, he was losing snaps to Johnson over the later half of last season. Then this offseason the Buffalo Bills signed Josh Norman as a free agent to compete with Wallace.

The window appears to be closing on Levi Wallace’s chances of securing the full time starter role. If he isn’t able to beat out Josh Norman this offseason, it would make sense for the team to address the position with a high draft pick or a top free agent. This training camp can be pivotal to where Levi Wallace is positioned on the depth chart in 2020.
