A.J. Epenesa
After Yetur Gross-Matos and A.J. Epenesa, it is hard to find pass rushers who look like they can come in and contribute right away. This is not to say there isn’t talent in later rounds but those prospects will likely need a little more time to develop.
This is why, along with Gross-Matos, the Buffalo Bills should consider moving up in the second round to grab Epenesa. The former Iowa Hawkeye is a little different than Yetur Gross-Matos as Epenesa is a bigger defensive end so he doesn’t have that top line speed to get after the quarterback.
This is not to say that he can’t be an effective pass rusher at the NFL level but rather he is going to be a more well-rounded defensive end that can set the edge and is a good run defender, along with rushing the passer.
It would certainly be worth the extra picks for the Buffalo Bills to move up to grab a player like A.J. Epenesa.
