De’Vondre Campbell

Should the Falcon’s decide to revamp the defense and let De’vondre Campbell walk, the Bills should bring him in for a visit. Campbell has a relentless motor and plays sideline to sideline.

He only has 5.5 sacks to his career, but in a Sean McDermott/Leslie Frazier defense, those numbers can bloom especially with the motor he possesses.  This past season was Campbell best and he finished with 129 total tackles, and 75 of those being solo. Campbell’s sack total potential should have the Bills ready to sign him.

Coming out of college, where he led the University of Minnesota in sacks, many could see the natural ability to rush the passer. It might have been the scheme the Falcons ran that led to his low sack amount in his career but a change of scenery might open up his potential.

In addition, leadership was a point of focus for Campbell this past year and he talked about it during training camp.

Campbell is a young player that can easily grow with both Edmunds and Milano so he fits the bill. At 26 years old, he has the potential to be a solid linebacker next to these two and may be enough for the Bills to spend a little more.
