Matt Milano

The next player on this list is linebacker Matt Milano, who has one year left on his rookie contract. Milano was a fifth round pick by the Buffalo Bills, and has been the team’s starting linebacker next to Tremaine Edmunds for the past two seasons.

Last season, fans started to see the development of Milano take shape and he finished with 78 total tackles, one sack and three interceptions. He was forced to miss the final three games of the season due to a broken leg.

The injury didn’t slow Milano down this season and he looked even better than 2018, finishing with over 100 total tackles for the first time in his career. He also had 1.5 sacks and nine passes defended.

The combination of Milano and Edmunds at the linebacker position is a great foundation for the position and this defense. If they are able to extend Milano, it could be the strength of this defense for a number of years.
