Bradlee Anae

In addition to Aiyuk, it has been reported by Ryan Talbot of Syracuse.com that the Bills met with defensive end Bradlee Anae. Similar to wide receiver, the defensive end position is top of mind for the Bills as there is some uncertainty with the potential departure of Shaq Lawson.

Anae had a breakout season this past year for Utah, finishing with 13 sacks this past season, including a three sack performance against Arizona State.

According to Kyle Crabb of The Draft Network, Anae has the potential of becoming a starter in the NFL.

"Bradlee Anae serves as a high motor defender who will slot well into an odd front defense as a stand up outside linebacker. Anae is fairly developed as a pass rusher and has been successfully exposed to multiple alignments to help place him in disruptive roles. There are some leverage issues present that will flare up in his game but Anae should be considered a potential starter at the next level with his developed hands, high effort and pro caliber build and athleticism."

It is interesting to note that Crabb believes Anae fits best in a 3-4 defense as an outside linebacker, which is not what the Bills run. However, for the Utes he played defensive end in a 4-3 defense. This is a question the Bills will need to answer of where he fits prior to the NFL Draft.
