Frank Gore still has it

It is amazing to watch a 36-year old running back like Frank Gore continue to do what he does best. In Week 3, Gore had 14 carries for 76 yards, averaged 5.4 yards per carry and for the second week in a row had a rushing touchdown. He also had an incredible circus catch that went for a first down in the first half.

When the Bills signed Frank Gore this offseason, he was written off as being a locker room guy or someone who could spell the featured back, who at the time was expected to be LeSean McCoy. However, after carrying the ball 19 times against the Giants and then 14 times against the Bengals, there is no reason to think he can’t be the featured back for this offense.

Gore has had an incredible 15 year career and is closing in on 15,000 rushing yards. At this pace, it would not be surprising to see him surpass that total before the Bills’ bye week in Week 6.
