Tight Ends

It was the rookie show at the tight end position as Tommy Sweeney and Dawson Knox were the only two involved in the passing game. Sweeney led the position with two receptions for 35 yards, including a 29-yard reception in the first half. Meanwhile Dawson Knox had one reception for one yard and two targets.

While they did make some nice plays, like Sweeney’s catch, there really isn’t a lot to say about their performance as the tight ends were not heavily involved in this game. It will be interesting to see how this position group changes, and who gets playing time, once Tyler Kroft returns from his broken foot in the coming weeks.
