Corey Bojorquez

One of the bigger surprises heading into Week 1 is that the team is moving forward with Corey Bojorquez as their starting punter. The general consensus was that while Bojorquez was on the 53-man roster, the team would likely be making a change before the game against the Jets.

The Bills front office certainly tried and after missing out on Britton Colquitt, it appears they have decided to give Bojorquez a chance to solidify himself in this role.

On paper, this game against the Bills and the Jets looks like it will be a low scoring contest dominated by each team’s defense. If it is this kind of struggle, field position is going to be critical to the Bill’s chances at victory.

It would not be surprising if after this game fans can point to the performance of Bojorquez as the deciding factor in the outcome on Sunday.
