Linebacker

Matt Milano, Tremaine Edmunds, Lorenzo Alexander, Corey Thompson, Julian Stanford, Vosean Joseph

Cut: Maurice Alexander, Tyrel Dodson, Deon Lacy

The linebacker position is another one that seemed pretty well set early on. The Bills knew their starting group would be Matt Milano, Tremaine Edmunds and Lorenzo Alexander.

After these three, Julian Stanford and Vosean Joseph were secure in their role as Stanford has experience in this defense and Joseph was one of the Bills’ draft picks this past April. As a rookie, Joseph will likely see most of his playing time on special teams.

The final spot for the linebackers goes to Corey Thompson, who split time last year between the Bills’ practice squad and active roster.
