Wide Receiver

John Brown, Cole Beasley, Zay Jones, Robert Foster, Andre Roberts, Isaiah McKenzie

Cut: Ray Ray McCloud, Duke Williams, David Sills V, Cam Phillips, Nick Easley, Victor Bolden Jr.

The depth chart at the wide receiver position seemed to come into focus early in training camp. At the top is John Brown, Cole Beasley, Zay Jones, Robert Foster while Andre Roberts was almost guaranteed a spot due to his returning abilities. However, Roberts has looked good in practice playing wide receiver and could see a role in this offense.

If the Bills keep six wide receivers, which I think they will, the battle lies between Isaiah McKenzie and Ray Ray McCloud. The one player who has played the best to this point has to be McKenzie who has over 100 receiving yards through the first two preseason games.

There was some hope for players like Duke Williams, David Sills V and Cam Phillips earlier in training camp but they haven’t done enough to surpass McKenzie or make a push for that final spot.
