Can LeSean McCoy return to form?

One of the better trades the Bills have made in recent years was a swap of Kiko Alonso for LeSean McCoy. The Pro Bowl running back has been at times the team’s only offensive weapon.

However, he has seen his production fall the past few years and last season was by far one of the worst of his career. He struggled to get anything going and finished with 514 rushing yards and averaged 3.2 yards per carry.

As McCoy enters what is likely his final season with the Bills, he has a chance to rejuvenate his career. The Bills have one of their more balanced offenses with depth at wide receiver, a QB that can keep defenses honest with his arm and what should be an improved offensive line.

The question will be how much the coaching staff will lean on McCoy, as the team added Frank Gore, TJ Yeldon and rookie Devin Singletary.

If the coaching staff can manage his workload, along with an improved offensive line, McCoy could be a much more efficient running back this year.
