Tre Boston, Safety

It is rather surprising that the 27-year old safety is still a free agent at this point of the season. He was drafted in the fourth round of the 2014 NFL Draft by the Carolina Panthers and played his first two seasons in the league under Sean McDermott.

However, Boston was released after the 2016 season and after playing a season with the LA Chargers and Arizona Cardinals, he is looking for his third team in three years.

The Bills are set at safety with one of the better duos in the league with Micah Hyde and Jordan Poyer. While they do have Rafael Bush and Siran Neal as backups, Bush is 32 years old and adding a younger safety, with starting experience and knows McDermott’s defense makes too much sense.
