The Buffalo Bills have plenty of cap space and a need at receiver but are not in a position to make a major offer for Antonio Brown.

Brandon Beane has made it clear that his goal is to rebuild the Buffalo Bills through the NFL Draft.

He then mentioned how the team will be active in free agency.

Then there is the trade market, where the Bills could realistically be active given all the draft capital, and the fact some veteran players could be moved to make the team younger.

Yet I don’t see any scenario in which Beane makes a trade for Antonio Brown. That would likely require several first-round picks and would go against everything Beane has said about the way he is building this team.

That is before we factor in the concept of character and chemistry. Brown is an elite player, but if he doesn’t want to be in Buffalo then it would be a bad fit from the start.

It is possible the Bills end up in some rumors regarding Brown, but it remains an unlikely possibility.

We look at this news and more in a midweek edition of The Morning Charge.

I am curious to see if the Bills do show up in any rumors surrounding Brown. Then again, the team may be put into some simply based on the cap space and draft capital.
