ORCHARD PARK, N.Y.
What a difference a week makes in Orchard Park. Last week against Indianapolis everyone including the players couldn’t see the field but still managed to squeak out a win. It was a night-day difference with this week compared to last week.
There was no snow on the field, but it was still cold, other than the snow the only other difference was the opposition team, with the Miami Dolphins coming to town.
The Buffalo Bills dominated the Dolphins, defeating them 24-16 to keep their playoff hopes alive. Here are 5 reasons why the Bills squished the fish.

5) The Fans
All of us have had some impact on the Bills home record this season. The Bills finished off at home with a record of 6-2. Battling through the snow and in the hot sun earlier in the season, the Bills and all of us battled. The only two losses at home came against two very good football teams, the Patriots, and Saints.
There was nothing on Sunday before the game that got the fans and I more pumped up and ready to go than this.
Grab the tissues, #Bills fans. As @Fred22Jackson led the charge, Kyle Williams made sure to stop and share a moment with his former teammate @WKBW pic.twitter.com/dnhGc97KZf

4) First Half Offense
15 weeks. That’s how long it took for Bills to finally get a touchdown on their opening possession of a game as they had yet to do so in the season with either the drive ending in a field goal or a costly turnover. What a first drive it was. It was a 10 play, 4:48 drive, a drive that saw key third downs converted and a McCoy touchdown run.
Next came not one but two, 75-yard drives to put two more touchdowns on the board. The Bills had full control of the first half, they looked like they could not be stopped and this ultimately set up Miami chasing for the rest of the game.

3) Tre’Davious White
Tre’Davious White continues to open eyes in his rookie season, making a case for the NFL’s Defensive Rookie of the Year. White was arguably the best defensive player on the field on Sunday. Racking up seven tackles, three pass breakups, and the game-sealing interception.
White was all over the field on Sunday, playing tight on the Dolphins explosive receivers like Jarvis Landry and DeVante Parker. Almost grabbed a couple of interceptions as well. White continues to impress as the season goes on but will have a rematch with Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski next week, we all know what happened the last time they met.

2) LeSean McCoy
Sure LeSean McCoy didn’t have the greatest game on the stat sheet, but he still was a huge factor on why the Bills won. He was a duel threat for the entire game, contributing in both the running game and passing game. But this is nothing new to us. McCoy managed to get 50-yards on the ground on 20 carries and even managed to get a score on the ground too.
Through the air McCoy was just as good, catching a 16-yard touchdown pass from Taylor to make it a 14-3 game. McCoy caught 4 of his five targets for 46-yards on the day. But none of this mattered as McCoy got his elusive “10k Chase”. As McCoy became just the 30th player in NFL history to rush for 10,000 career yards.

1) Tyrod Taylor
For whatever reason, whenever the Bills face off against the Dolphins, Bills quarterback Tyrod Taylor always seems to show up. The last time the Bills faced off against the Dolphins was almost a year ago in that heartbreaking 34-31 overtime loss. In that game, Taylor completed 26 of his 39 attempts 329-yards and three touchdowns. He even had 60-yards on the ground.
Well, this Sunday Taylor seemed to still be in the same gear. As Taylor was 17 of 29 for 224-yards and one touchdown. He even managed to run a touchdown in himself, having 42-yards on the ground on six carries.
This was without a doubt Taylors best game of the season by far. He was poised in the pocket, he didn’t turn the football over and was able to extend plays with his legs like the usual Tyrod we’re used to seeing that helped the Bills get a win on Sunday. It’s easy to forget about his worrying knee injury from two weeks ago with a performance like that. It looks like the knee was nothing to worry about.
