5.  A Safety Will Emerge

The last two offseasons have been tough for the Buffalo Bills when it comes to the safety position.  In 2014 they lost all-pro safety Jairus Byrd after he chased the money and a significant knee injury to New Orleans and in 2015 Da’Norris Searcy jumped ship to head South to play with the Tennessee Titans.

This leaves a big hole opposite sure starter Aaron Williams.  The favorite right now to replace Searcy is Duke Williams, third year player out of Nevada.  He will have some hungry players breathing down his neck, though.

Kenny Ladler and Jonathan Meeks, along with the inconsistent Bacarri Rambo, will be pushing Williams for a starting safety spot.  Meeks may be one to give him the biggest threat but Ladler has special teams experience that could play into his favor.
