The Buffalo Bills select with the 81st pick in the draft Clive Walford Tight End Miami (of Florida) University. Tight End U has another player taken in the first three days of the draft, Walford has a very similar skill set to Charles Clay. However because of Greg Roman’s offensive scheme two tight ends with good hands, down field speed and decent blocking are necessary to the scheme. Walford brings that in spades, Walford is also extremely good at catching the ball at it highest point while having defenders cloaking him in coverage. Walford is also quick down the seam either lined up in the slot or on the line. Walford adds another wrinkle to an already juiced offense that has been the focal point so far this offseason.
