Buffalo Bills Wall Of Fame: Who’s Next?

While the Bills get ready to finish out the season I was thinking today about the Bills that people will always remember. I think we could have some of those guys on the roster now but looking back this team sure had some players that were good. Back in 1980 this wall was started and the Bills ever since have been collecting the top names within the organization to add and honor at Ralph Wilson Stadium. Now my question is who’s the next person to get in?

The likes of: Jim Kelly, Thurman Thomas, Bruce Smith, Andre Reed, OJ Simpson, Marv Levy and Kent Hall are just some of the Bills greats to have their names displayed at the Ralph for fans to see and remember them for their team and individual accomplishments.

My pick is Eric Moulds. Back in 1996 the Bills elected to use their first round pick (24th overall) on a kid from Mississippi State. With other Bills greats coming to the end of their careers this organization looked to Moulds to be that guy moving forward and it turned out to be a great move. Eric played for the Bills from 1996-2005 and is currently 2nd all-time in receiving. With him and Andre Reed topping the list the next closest active player to him is Stevie Johnson 5,000 + yards away. Also he has had the highest reception output within a season at 100 and tied for second in receiving td’s with 10. Other accomplishments Moulds has earned are 3 Pro Bowl appearances and named All Pro both in the years of 1998, 2000 and 2002. With a career like this I can’t see any reason why he shouldn’t be a part of this great Bills list and honored for his achievements.

What players do you want to see added to the wall of fame? Other’s that have crossed my mind are: Ruben Brown and Cornelius Bennett. Who do you think will be the next and also has anyone waited too long?
