A couple of days ago, Buffalo Bills’ cornerback Stephon Gilmore took to Twitter to answer questions from fans.

Some of you might’ve caught Stephon Gilmore at the right time on Twitter several days ago. The Buffalo Bills‘ unrestricted free agent did a little Q&A with fans at 7:15 pm on Friday, February 17th. All in all, he ended up answering over 35 questions.

I’m not going to go through all of the questions and answers, since some of them aren’t really worth noting, but there were definitely some interesting ones that I would like to share. In fact, the very first question he answered was exactly that.

(Questions will be in bold, the answers will follow.)

Favorite Bills’ teammate to play with and why?

Obviously, Gilmore is referring to Aaron Williams. Williams has been the team’s safety for the past six years, but has suffered season-ending injuries in the past two. In 2015, he suffered a neck injury and only played in 3 games, while he suffered a similar injury this season 7 games through.

Favorite receiver to play against and why?

Alshon Jeffery, much like Stephon Gilmore, played for South Carolina. In fact, they spent the same years there, from 2009-2011. Jeffery had a breakout season in 2010 and finished his college career with 183 receptions, 3,042 yards and 23 touchdowns. In his two full seasons in the NFL, he has amassed 1,000 yards on the season. Unfortunately, injuries have limited him the other three years.

Best part about being a Buffalo Bill?

Biggest lesson you’ve learned in the NFL?

Wide receiver that surprised you most on the field vs. on film?

Allen Robinson entered the league in 2014, being selected by the Jaguars in the second round. After only playing 10 games his rookie season, he has played full seasons the past two years. In his three-year career, he has compiled 201 receptions, 2,831 yards and 22 touchdowns — 14 TD in 2015.

Position you would play other than cornerback?

And he says this right as the Buffalo Bills are stuck with massive uncertainty at the quarterback position. Makes you think…

Most difficult receiver you’ve had to cover?

What defensive coordinator’s scheme did you like most?

Favorite game you played with the Buffalo Bills?

In 2015, the Buffalo Bills defeated the Tennessee Titans 14-13 in Week 5 to bring their record to 3-2. Down 10-0 with the third quarter winding down, Tyrod Taylor would score a 22-yard TD run to bring the game within 3 with a little over a minute left. After the Titans kicked a field goal, Tyrod Taylor answered with a 2-yard TD pass to Chris Hogan (who?) to take a 14-13 lead.

With just over a minute left in the game, Stephon Gilmore intercepted Marcus Mariota to seal the victory for the Buffalo Bills.

Of course, Stephon Gilmore is an unrestricted free agent this offseason and signs point to him not re-signing with the team — although that’s mere speculation. The reality is, Gilmore has been a fantastic cornerback for this team and has had a nice start to his young career. Unfortunately, the Buffalo Bills might be too pressed for cap space.

No matter what he ends up doing, I will support him and wish him the best. Thank you for all the excitement you brought us these past five years and if we do see you next season, even better.
