The Buffalo Bills managed a 30-19 victory over the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday, winning their third straight game of the season. Hopefully, your fantasy football teams are on a roll, too.

The Buffalo Bills have now notched their third straight victory with their win over the Los Angeles Rams. Looking at the game from a fantasy perspective, we are starting to see a trend with who the top performers are on this team.

Much like they did against the Arizona Cardinals in Week 3 and New England Patriots in Week 4, the Bills did a great job of controlling the game with good defense, matched by a solid offense.

The first few drives of the game were completely under Buffalo’s control. They ended up scoring 2 TD’s in their first two drives of the game — a Tyrod Taylor 4-yard TD pass to Justin Hunter and a 5-yard rushing TD by Mike Gillislee. Not to mention their first drive took 7 minutes off the clock.

On the other hand, the Rams settled for a field goal on their opening drive and a lost fumble on their second drive.

After securing a 13-3 lead — the Rams blocked Dan Carpenter‘s extra point on the Gillislee touchdown — the Rams started to fight back. After scoring a field goal and a touchdown in the second quarter, the Rams tied the game up at 13 a piece. However, the Bills would re-take the lead with a field goal as the time expired in the first half.

The second half was more dominance by the Bills, who allowed the Rams to tie the game up one more time at 16-a-piece with a field goal to start the 3rd quarter. That was followed by a 41-yard pick-6 by the former USC player, Nickell Robey-Coleman. The Bills held a 23-19 lead following another field goal by the Rams.

As time winded down, the Bills secured the victory with a 6-yard TD pass to Marquise Goodwin from Tyrod Taylor. the game ended 30-19 in Buffalo’s favor.

16. The Buffalo Bills defense continues to turn heads with their stellar play. At this point, they could be a great fantasy football pick-up if you are in need of a defense or a backup defense. After only managing 10 fantasy points through the first two games, they’ve turned out three straight dominant fantasy performances. Over that three-game span, they’ve accumulated 49 fantasy points with a 21, 12 and 16-point performance, respectively. With two interceptions, a fumble recovery and a defensive touchdown vs. the Rams, their excellence continue. This defensive group has now scored three touchdowns in the first five games of the season — they scored three all of last season.. Fantasy Football. . Buffalo Bills D/ST

15. LeSean McCoy is showing us this year what we wished we saw last season. Although a year late, seeing him run like this is awesome to watch and adds to the excitement each and every week. Many people got worried when he joined the injury list on Friday, but he kept his word after telling SportsCenter there was no way he was missing this game. And he didn’t miss it. In fact, he ran all over the Rams and finished with a total of 150 yards off 18 carries. Although he didn’t find the endzone and wasn’t really used in the passing attack (2 receptions, 8 yards), his 150 yards tallied 15 fantasy points and made me — as a fantasy owner — very satisfied.. 14. Tyrod Taylor has come a long way since his 5-point fantasy performance vs. the Baltimore Ravens on opening night. In that game, he barely reached 100 yards, only rushed for 11 yards and didn’t record any touchdowns. Since then, he has been a much more productive fantasy football quarterback. In the three games leading up to Sunday’s game vs. the Rams, he had combined for 53 points (23 vs. Jets, 15 vs. Cardinals, 15 vs. Patriots). Those numbers have been pinning him in the middle of all the other quarterback’s fantasy numbers — which isn’t too shabby. He might not be a starting fantasy quarterback right now, but his 14-point performance vs. the Rams is proving that he can stay consistent. From a fantasy perspective, he brings about the same upside each week that Joe Flacco brings — 10+points, with the potential for a 30-point game.. Fantasy Football. . Tyrod Taylor

The Buffalo Bills host the San Francisco 49ers next Sunday in Orchard Park at 1:00 PM. It’s expected to be another big day for the defense against a team that is sitting at 1-4 in the NFC West.

After shutting out the Rams opening night, the 49ers have allowed 140 points to team’s in the past four games. Expect a big day from the offense, too.
