Here are your daily links from the Buffalo Bills from around the web.

Buffalo Bills Projecting Well Despite Losses On Defense & Matt Cassel

"After a 9-7 finish and yet another season without football in January in New York, the Buffalo Bills decided it was time for a change. Well a few big changes to be more specific. The Bills made the first big splash of the offseason by acquiring LeSean McCoy in a one-for-one trade that sent linebacker Kiko Alonso to the Philadelphia Eagles. They hired Rex Ryan, signed Percy Harvin, and suddenly the Bills were coming together as a team.Well, the defense has always been together. If the Bills were to win a Super Bowl, it would be in 2000 Baltimore Ravens style, where the defense was so good the fact that the team had Trent Dilfer under center didn’t even matter. I would compare them to the 2013 Seattle Seahawks as well, but some of y’all get upset when I say Russell Wilson is replaceable."

Rex Ryan: Buffalo Bills considered signing Michael Vick

"The Bills came into training camp with one of the deepest running back situations in the league, but all three of their top running backs have been hurt to some degree this week. The Buffalo Bills will put on full pads Saturday night for an inter-squad scrimmage at St. John Fisher College. In 10 games (three starts) last year for the Jets. The Buffalo Bills are rumored to be getting a little closer to finding a quarterback, and it seems the one emerging as the team’s best is also the most unlikely."

Cassel likely to start Bills‘ preseason opener

"Even though veteran Matt Cassel will likely start for the Buffalo Bills in their first preseason game, Buffalo’s quarterback competition appears to be far from over.Bills coach Rex Ryan made the announcement after a team scrimmage Saturday night, saying that Cassel will “probably” start Buffalo’s preseason opener against Carolina on Aug. 14. Ryan added that Buffalo will rotate starters at QB in the preseason.“We’ll probably start Cassel in the first game against Carolina and let’s go from there,” Ryan said."

Polian Enters Hall

"Former Buffalo Bills general manager Bill Polian is officially a member of the Pro Football Hall of Fame.Polian was enshrined in Canton Saturday night. He’s known for putting together a Bills team that went to four straight Super Bowls in the early 1990s.He got a little emotional as he neared the end of his speech and addressed his many former players.“My honor is your honor. I stand here on your shoulders. I am here because of you, and I am forever grateful,” he said."

Bradham: Stopping run was job one

"The Bills defense flashed a lot when it came to putting pressure on their quarterbacks in the blue-white scrimmage Saturday night, but their run defense was pretty good as well.Sure the offense got a couple of quality gains through the course of the 18 series between the offensive and defensive units. But through the course of the night Buffalo’s defense had 11 tackles for loss and one for no gain on run plays."
