Ty Powell primed for ‘mike’ LB role

"He never played one position in college. In Seattle as a seventh-round draft pick of the Seahawks, Ty Powell lined up in different roles as well. It all changed when he was signed by Buffalo in October of 2013. Powell showed enough on special teams to hang around, and then worked to prove he could be a contributor at linebacker on defense."

Ranking the Buffalo Bills position groups

"The Buffalo Bills  have a stacked roster complete with depth at many positions. Analyzing each position group, reveals Buffalo has many options and much to consider before solidifying the 53-man roster. With some positions stronger than others, it will be difficult to secure a spot. Breaking the roster down by the players at each position, pinpoints the defensive line, cornerback, wide receiver, and running back groups as particularly loaded. Buffalo’s linebacker, safety, tight end, quarterback and offensive line group positions are less heavily weighted. Ranking each position group by skill level and depth, will help Buffalo make the right choices when determining the starting lineup."

Predicting which Bills make the NFL’s Top 100

"The NFL Network is unveiling their Top 100 Players of 2015. These rankings are unique as they come from the players themselves. In the offseason, players fill out ballots and vote on players based upon their 2014 performance, as well as how they think the player will fare in 2015."

Q&A WITH THE GREAT ANDRE REED

"Former Buffalo Bills wide receiver and Pro Football Hall of Famer Andre Reed was in Central New York Friday to sign autographs and pose for photos with fans. Andre Reed made an appearance at Runnings, a new retail store in Clay. The event was part of the store’s grand opening celebration."

AFC East quarterback controversies drag into NFL Training Camps

"NFL training camps will begin in about two months and that usually brings about positional battles. One of the biggest positions on the field is quarterback and there are some questions about the choices in the AFC East. When training camps do start this will be the best opportunity for teams to see what they have when games don’t count."
