Buffalo Bills Circling The Wagons

Welcome to the weekend everyone. It has been an interesting week looking at all of the deflategate news that is coming out and it does not seem to be an end in site. The Buffalo Bills finished up their second full week of voluntary offseason conditioning.

Three biggest additions to the Buffalo Bills roster for 2015

"Buffalo has been one of the NFL’s most active teams this offseason. Finishing the 2014 season with a 9-7 record, Buffalo placed second in the AFC East. Under the leadership of newly appointed head coach Rex Ryan, Buffalo is gearing up to be a physical, dominant and playoff worthy team. Additionally, General manager Doug Whaley’s aggressive and needs-based approach to free agency and the draft has helped the Bills land a series of difference-makers. Expressing the most needs on offense, the biggest roster additions for 2015 will come in running back LeSean McCoy, tight end Charles Clay and guard John Miller."

Bills rookies get tour around town

"The Buffalo Bills rookie class isn’t yet broken in to the Buffalo culture, but the team started that off Friday with a tour around the area. The tour was designed to instill a sense of the area into the 19 Buffalo Bills rookies in the 2015 rookie class. Highlights of the trip included Niagara Falls, the HARBORCenter building, Canalside and the New Era Cap Company."

Orange Nation talks to Bills legend Andre Reed

"Buffalo Bills legend and Hall of Famer Andre Reed was in the Syracuse area on Friday and he took time out to talk to ESPN radio’s Orange Nation. Reed discussed his thoughts on the so-called “Deflategate” scandal, and whether his opinion of the future Hall of Famer Tom Brady has changed at all."

Carrington seeks happy return to Bills

"Alex Carrington was asked this week whether the phrase “welcome home” ran through his mind upon re-signing with the Buffalo Bills. “That definitely feels like the right phrase,” Carrington said. “I’ve always considered Buffalo a home.”"

Is Matt Cassel destined for backup role with the Bills?

"Veteran Matt Cassel was widely viewed as the favorite to open the season as the Buffalo Bills‘ quarterback after splitting practice reps evenly with EJ Manuel and Tyrod Taylor last month. At least one prominent beat writer believes, however, that Cassel won’t be under center in Week 1 versus the Colts. “I wouldn’t rule it out,” writes Vic Carucci of The Buffalo News, “but I believe he was acquired mainly to provide the veteran backup quarterback the Bills lost when Kyle Orton suddenly retired the day after last season.”"

2015 Buffalo Bills Team Outlook

"The Buffalo Bills are coming off their first winning season since 2004. Their growth was due to a much-improved defense led by four stud defensive linemen who recorded 44 sacks, 125 quarterback hurries and 31 quarterback hits on 559 passing attempts. The Bills finished fourth in the NFL in points and yards allowed, which was their best finish since 1999. Unfortunately, Buffalo remains flat on offense."
