Buffalo Bills Circling The Wagons – May 14th Edition

The Buffalo Bills have made some roster moves as their first week in May, with condition workouts begins to come to an end.  They brought in Rex Ryan favorite John Conner, the Terminator Killer, and released Corey Knox.  Ryan also made some comments and had a press conference yesterday and was asked about the punishment that Tom Brady and the Patriots received for their involvement in Deflategate.

Top of the heap or bust for Bills special teams

Bills sign former Jets FB John Conner

"The Buffalo Bills signed fullback John Conner, the team announced Wednesday. Conner visited Buffalo Tuesday and the two sides eventually came to an agreement.  Conner’s signing once again reunites the six-year veteran with head coach Rex Ryan. Conner began his career in 2010 with the New York Jets, then under the direction of Ryan. He stayed with the team until they elected not to re-sign him following the 2012 season."

NFL concussion settlement: Former Buffalo Bills, Green Bay Packers lineman Craig Heimburger

"The first notice of appeal has been filed in an attempt to halt the planned $1 billion settlement of NFL concussion lawsuits. Lawyers for former player Craig Heimburger say they’ll ask a federal appeals court to review a judge’s decision last month to approve the deal. An NFL website shows Heimburger played 13 games from 1999 to 2001 with the Buffalo Bills and Green Bay Packers."
