Richie Incognito “Humbled” On First Day Of Training

Richie Incognito was out of football last year due to a “bullying” incident that occurred back in 2013 and which ultimately got him cut from the Miami Dolphins.  The incident was part of an investigation that saw there were issues within the locker room and an uncomfortable atmosphere that was provided by Incognito and a couple of others towards offensive lineman Jonathan Martin.

Jonathan Martin ultimately did not return to the Dolphins after the incident and spend 1 year in San Francisco with the 49ers and was cut at the end of the year.  Martin was signed, last week, by the Carolina Panthers to give it another go around.

The Buffalo Bills brought in Ritchie Incognito to add an element of “bullying” to their offensive line, and in this respect, Incognito may have been the perfect addition to a struggling offensive line.

Today was the first day of strength and conditioning work for the Buffalo Bills, along with 2 other teams, which starts their 2 weeks of strength and conditioning program for the year.

Incognito spent some time, last year, in a facility to work on his approach to others and how to respect them.

"…receiving treatment at a facility in Boston and, as he said in February, learning that he “needed to respect those around me more.”Incognito also said that he knew this was his last chance in the NFL and echoed that message on Monday when he spoke to reporters after his first official day of work with the Bills.“At the end of the day, humbling is the best way to describe the past year for me,” Incognito said, via the team.– PFT.com"

The Buffalo Bills are not a team known for bringing players that will cause a problem within the locker room.  Adding Richie Incognito, could, ultimately, have an effect on the locker room and it might not be a positive one.  Rex Ryan is a coach that is able to handle his players and if there is a problem, I am sure that it will be taken care of quickly.

The Bills and Rex Ryan needed help on the offensive line and Richie Incognito could be that guy to add that extra push that is needed to get some of these guys going.
