Buffalo Bills Circling The Wagons: E.J. Manuel, Training Camp

Happy Thursday Everyone! Here are your daily links for the Buffalo Bills.

EJ Manuel is in a tough spot.  As a quarterback the eyes are always on you.  Here in Western New York it is not just a couple of people everyday watching your moves, it is the entire area watching your every step.  With Manuel being drafted 16th overall last year and being dubbed as the next face of the franchise to final fill the void from Jim Kelly, these shoes are not just big to fill they are huge.  [Sports Media 101]

With the second to last preseason game coming up and the final game before the rosters are cut to 75, Doug Marrone is looking to change some things up.  A fight broke out yesterday and Marrone was not impressed.  Players are starting to wander with their attention.  Something needs to change and quickly.  The team needs a joint to get back on track.  [WGR 550]

With another roster move being determine, it provides another spot for rookies that are trying to crack that 53-man roster spot.  Stevenson Sylvester was placed on injured reserve by the Bills which should allow for Preston Brown and Jimmy Gaines, who are looking good in camp so far, additional reps in camp and the games to fight for that 53-man roster.  [Syracuse.com]

The Buffalo Bills will have their first home preseason game this Saturday and it will be against the Buccaneers.  Tampa Bay will visit a sold out Ralph Wilson Stadium.  This is good news for local patrons as the game will be televised on local TV. [TWC]
