I found it highly offensive as a fan of the football team in Buffalo that the three most memorable plays chosen by ESPN for the Buffalo Bills were all negative. Do we not have memorable positive plays? This franchise is not that bad, is it?
I understand how memorable “wide right” and “The Music City Miracle” are to Western New Yorkers. I can remember where I was for both, but we have to have some positive plays that were more memorable. Even Don Beebe’s miraculous rundown of Leon Lett was negative; we lost and were thoroughly embarrassed in that game.
So what positive plays are memorable to you? Are you old enough to remember O.J. Simpson breaking 2,000 yards in only 14 games? Joe Ferguson did some good things, I just cannot recall any right now? How about “The Comeback” against the Oilers?
What do you think Buffalo? Did we get the shaft again? What is your most memorable play from the Buffalo Bills?
