Sabres and Buffalowdown

In an effort to bring you more Buffalo Sports News, Buffalowdown will look at some of the work that has been going on over at SabreNoise.

With the off-season in complete swing for the NHL, the Buffalo Sabres are looking for free agent centers that could come in and help this younger, raw team move past their disappointing season.

Ville Leino had a very forgettable season.  With that, the Buffalo Sabres bought out his contract and let him go.  Each team was awarded two buyouts from two seasons ago.  Leino is one of those two.

As mentioned above, the off-season is in full swing for everybody.  The Sabres have been in off-season mode for a while now.  Here is your complete guide to the off-season and the Sabres.

The NHL Draft is coming up at the end of this month; June 28th.  The Sabres have the 2nd pick overall in the draft.  They are stocked with young prospects and talent within the organization.  Who will they add to their stock coming the 2nd pick or do they trade it away to horde more draft picks for either this year or the next?
