The Buffalo Bills Will Need To Rebrand

It’s Saturday morning and all I can think about is how the Buffalo Bills will need to rebrand if they leave Erie County. The red, white, and blue is part of the Buffalo, the same can be said for the standing and charging Buffalo. These are our logo and part of our identity. If the Bills are forced to leave Erie County the logo and colors stay with us.

For Bills fans the love of the team runs deep, so does the connection with the colors and logo, and I for one feel that those colors have no place outside Erie County. To the Canadian fans, and the people who feel it’s best to move this team out of the Buffalo area I’m sorry. Find your own identity, this one is ours.

Furthermore, if Niagara Falls is truly a front-runner for the new stadium the name stays with Buffalo as well. Maybe I’m in a bad mood, but I have heard enough about moving to this part of WNY or this part of WNY. There is more than enough land inside Erie County lines. Bills fans for the most part want no part of seeing this team move down Interstate 90, or watch them inch closer to the Canadian border.

If you are a fan of this team let us know how you feel about the possibility of seeing the Bills carry our name and colors to another location.  Or, am I completely off base and nothing matters as long as the Buffalo Bills are still part of Western New York?

I don’t think it is a big deal if the Bills are still part of WNY. A move to another market however, the team will most likely rebrand anyways.

Yes sir you are way off base! If the Bills are lucky enough to find an owner who is willing to spend close to a billion dollars, and keeps the team close enough to be called the Buffalo Bills you should worship the ground he or she walks on. In or out of Erie county.
