Jon Bon Jovi Gives the Bills a Bad Name

As the names start to pop up of potential buyers for the Buffalo Bills franchise, Jon Bon Jovi is being shot down in a blaze of glory locally.  Calls are out to boycott his music and all because he probably would relocate the team across the border to Canada.  I am not a huge fan of the music of the band (although I did interview Richie Sambora once and found him very like-able), but their music really isn’t that bad.  Although I can see how it would stick in the side of Buffalonians to sell the team to someone that will come out and verbally say they will move the team.  I think that the anger is misdirected.

Shouldn’t we be more upset with Jerry Jones for endorsing such a move?  Jerry is essentially telling the people of Buffalo that they don’t deserve a team and he could care less if the Bills were in Buffalo, Toronto, London or Los Angeles.  Jerry has always been about the benjamins and wants Jon Bon Jovi to get off his bed of roses and sleep on a bed of lettuce. If you want someone dead or alive, it should be Jerry not Jon.

Personally I hope the team is sold to someone that verbally commits to keeping the team in Buffalo. In reality that cannot even be trusted, but at least I’m not singing Runaway with this team yet.

This is the AMERICAN football league. Having a team in Canada is not desirable at all, so no way to bon jovi. Oh, and his music does suck.

I am a huge Bills fan living in Canada and the very last thing I want is for any team to come across the border, let alone the Bills. I think Buffalo deserves to keep the team there and the atmosphere there has made my trips to Buffalo that much more enjoyable.

You know sooner or later a team is coming to Toronto. Also London for that matter. It is just a matter of time. It is fine with me as Buffalo plays in Toronto twice a year. i would like to see a Toronto team be a rivalry with Buffalo. As the last decade has shown Buffalo gets spanked in Toronto every time.
