Buffalo Bills Add 9 Undrafted FA, Release 1

Today, the Buffalo Bills have thrown my depth chart out of the water. During the draft the Bills added, 5 offensive players and 3 defensive players.

The Buffalo Bills have made more moves to their roster. They released Offensive Lineman Jamaal Johnson-Webb. Buffalo signed Johnson-Webb in December of last year after he was released from the Vikings practice squad. At this point, Johnson-Webb will not see time with the Bills.

Buffalo went all defense with their 9 new undrafted free agents. 3 safeties, 3 linebackers, 2 defensive lineman, and 1 cornerback.

S Derek Brim – 6-0, 199 – Buffalo
S Deon Broomfield – 6-0, 206 – Iowa State
S Kenny Ladler – 6-1, 207 – Vanderbilt
LB James Gaines – 6-3, 240 – Miami
LB Bryan Johnson – 6-4, 250 – West Texas A&M
LB Darrin Kitchens – 6-2, 230 – Florida
DT Damien Jacobs – 6-3, 290 – Florida
DL Colby Way – 6-4, 293 – Buffalo
CB Darius Robinson – 5-10, 175 – Clemson

It seems as though the Bills have brought in a couple of hometown boys to go into the mini-camps with them.  Both Derek Brim and Colby Way played for the university of Buffalo and James Gaines is a WNY native out of Getzville.

The Bills are certainly giving Jim Schwartz as many options as he can have to produce the best defense possible.
