Yesterday, the Buffalo Bills surprised a lot of people and traded up.  I know while watching, even the analysts were surprised and had to stop talking about Johnny Manziel, at that point, it was a good thing because even by pick 4 they had already gone overboard as to where Johnny would go and whats going to happen to him.  It was ridiculous.

The Buffalo Bills traded up from the 9th pick to the 4th pick and gave up their 2015 1st and 4th round picks.  I predicted, at that point that Buffalo was going to go big and draft Sammy Watkins.  There was a definite split on social media with fans as to was this the right choice or not.  Why not get a taller Mike Evans or Khalil Mack to secure the defense.  What about Jake Matthews to secure that offensive line.  Only they will know why they went with Sammy Watkins and I think that they have a plan.

There is no way that the Bills come into the season with 6 strong #2 wide receivers.  I am including Watkins as a number 2 right now because we have not seen him perform at the professional level and I will group him with Woods as a rookie.  For wide receivers the Bills have Steve Johnson, Mike Williams, Robert Woods, Marquise Goodwin, T.J. Graham, and now Sammy Watkins.  Also, don’t forget that Chris Hogan, and Kevin Elliot are on the roster as well.

Watching Live NFL AM this morning, they mentioned that Sammy Watkins was the only draftee last night to pull out a camera and take a selfie with Goodell.  Their reason behind him being the only one is that he is a play-maker, he makes this happen.  Buffalo fans can only hope based on the split reaction last night.

I think with the strong wide receiver corps as this point, Buffalo will make a move today during rounds 2 and 3 and pick up another draft pick, either in this draft or next draft and we might see Graham or Johnson traded within this trade.  I like Buffalo looking at an offensive lineman or a tight end in the 2nd round.  I think that if Austin Seferian-Jenkins is available at 41 they go TE if not look for the best available lineman.

Round 2 and 3 start at 630 tonight on the NFL network and ESPN.  I am predicting that the Bills make another trade tonight.
