Every year, the editors of NFL Fansided put together a mock draft right before the draft. This year was no different and we just finished the mock draft.
Each editor will make a pick for their team and provide a description as to why. For Buffalowdown, I made the pick for the Buffalo Bills.
When the 9th pick came to me I had a couple of choices. Greg Robinson and Taylor Lewan were both still available at 9. There were four quarterbacks taken in the first 8 picks and Jadeveon Clowney was the first overall pick.
Buffalo at number 9 had a weak moment and bypass the offensive lineman, I know I have been high on them, but I for some reason could not pass up the opportunity to bring in a big game threat at any level of the field. The Buffalo Bills drafted WR, Mike Evans, Texas A&M. With that pick, Texas A&M had 3 players go in the top 9. Manziel and Matthews were taken before the Bills even got to the podium.
Here is my reasoning why, Evans was the choice.
With the need in a couple of areas, the Bills look to add more depth to an already up and coming wide receiving corps. Evans will add the deep threat as well as have a presence middle. He has the size that will dominate most corner backs in any situation anywhere in the field.
