We are keeping this train moving as we finalize the first round and top 32 picks for the Buffalowdown’s Mock Draft.

With the 21st pick, for the Green Bay Packers, BLDs Social Media Guy rings in with

"With the 21st pick in the draft, the Green Bay Packers select Calvin Pryor, safety from Louisville. Packers lack a pass defense, Pryor brings a much needed secondary upgrade."

The 22nd pick goes to the Philadelphia Eagles and John Starba selects

"With the 22th pick of the 2014 Buffalowdown mock draft the Philadelphia eagles select Cody Latimer WR of Indiana. Coach Kelly will be looking to replace DeSean Jackson and Latimer will be the guy. His big frame and speed should fit nicely within this offense."

The 23rd pick brings David Tilton to the podium to pick for the Chiefs.

"With the 23rd pick in the 2014 BLD mock draft, the Kansas City Chiefs select Oregon St. WR Brandin Cooks. With receivers flying off the board the Chiefs are still able to snag one of the top prospects in this year’s class at pick 23. Cooks brings blazing speed (4.31 40 yard dash) and deep threat playmaking ability to complement Dwayne Bowe. Andy Reid’s selection of Cooks bears similarities to another Pac-12 receiver he drafted in 2008, DeSean Jackson."

The 24th pick involved a trade between the Bengals and the Redskins.  The Redskins send Kirk Cousins and a 4th round draft pick in this years draft for the 24th overall pick.  The Redskins and Alex Jones select

"With the 24th overall pick acquired from Cincinnati the Washington Redskins select Darqueze Denard Cornerback Michigan State University. The Redskins traded up into the first round and they grab an instant playmaker. Denard is a lights out super physical corner who will be a day one starter. He played in the Big Ten and played his best against the toughest competiton. Denard will be a great addition to an ailing secondary."

Dennis Amo and the San Diego Chargers with the 25th pick select

"With the 25th overall pick in Buffalowdowns Mock Draft the San Diego Chargers select Louis Nix, DT, Notre Dame. Nix is a strong and powerful guy that plays physical. The Chargers are weak on the inside of their D-Line. This is a perfect fit for a Chargers team that is in need of size in the middle."

The 26th pick heads to the Browns and Chris Whitcomb and they select

"With the 26th pick – the Browns take Kyle Fuller – CB from Virginia Tech After securing Manziel early, Pettine goes back to his bread and butter and bolsters the defense"

The 27th overall pick goes to the New Orleans Saints and Andrew Kohler across the pond in Ireland.  Kohler selects for the Saints

"With the 27th pick in the 2014 Buffalowdown NFL Mock Draft, The New Orleans Saints invoke the magic of Craig “Ironhead” Heyward and select: Zach Martin, OG, Notre Dame. This selection fills the biggest need the Saints have and Martin is the best player available on the big board. It is just that simple. I considered cornerback, but the signing of Champ Bailey puts that on the backburner. WHO DAT !!!!"
