BLDs Facebook Mock Draft

Today starts Buffalowdown’s first ever Facebook Mock Draft.

We are already on our way and the first two picks are in.  Check us out on our Facebook Page to see the most up to date picks by our Buffalowdown team.  Each writer will be picking for 2 to 3 teams throughout the next couple of days before the real 2014 NFL Draft.  After the first 3 rounds are done we will then each post who we think the Bills will lock in during the 4-7 rounds.  I will be updating through BLD posts to keep everyone as up to date as possible but, for the most up to date picks check it out on Facebook.

Here is the first pick of the draft…

Buffalowdown’s first ever Facebok Mock Draft starts NOW!
The Houston Texans are on the clock!

With the first pick in the Buffalowdown 2014 Mock Draft, the Houston Texans select: Jadeveon Clowney, Defensive End, South Carolina.

This might be the easiest pick I make today. Clowney is the best athlete in the draft and can step in right away and make a huge impact. I considered a quarterback with this pick, but should be able to meet that need at 33.

– Andrew Kohler

The second pick from the Rams is…

With the 2nd pick in the 2014 BLD mock draft, the St. Louis Rams select Clemson WR, Sammy Watkins.

After much debate back and forth between Watkins and Auburn OT Greg Robinson, it was just too hard to pass on the explosive playmaking ability that Watkins can bring to the Rams offense. A more thorough look at their current receiving corps makes me all the more comfortable with the selection. Kenny Britt was signed to a one year deal and last year’s first round pick, Tavon Austin, is better suited playing in the slot. Brian Quick and Austin Pettis are good players, but should be counted on to contribute more like #4/5 receivers. Watkins has the ability and potential to become a true #1 wide receiver. With another pick at #13, the Rams will still have a high first round pick to add talent at a position of need.

– David Tilton

We would love to hear from you and your thoughts on who we picked and if you agree or disagree.
