The Buffalo Bills are now on the clock…
With the forty first overall pick in the 2014 NFL Draft the Buffalo Bills select Safety Deone Bucannon Washington State University

The Buffalo Bills have said they are going to look internally for the heir apparent to Jarius Byrd, however if Deonne Bucannon falls into their laps at 41 then they will again race to the podium. Bucannon brings something that this team has been lacking in recent years which is physicality. Something that Doug Marrone has been wanting to add to both sides of the ball with the free agency additions of Brandon Spikes and Chris Williams. The Washington State product is a hard hitting safety who also is a ball hawker having 6 interceptions and 3 forced fumbles in his senior season. The only knocks on his game are that he sometimes isn’t able to turn his hips well and gets beat deep in coverage. This can be remedied by coaching, his knack for ball hawking and pension for hitting however can not.
